The approach

A useful integration begins with understanding the systems on both sides. We work with your technical team to establish supported interfaces, data ownership and the operational expectations of the workflow before implementation starts.

Bring the system context

Identify the source and destination systems, their supported interfaces and available environments. Share the relevant data structures and access requirements through an agreed channel, with credentials handled separately from general project material.

Specify the behaviour

Define triggers, field mappings, identifiers and permission boundaries. Agree what happens on a repeated event, a missing field or an unavailable destination, including how the team should observe and resolve an exception.

Plan a reviewable release

Test representative success and failure cases with the system owners. Document the deployment responsibilities, validation steps and support handoff, so each team understands its part in the production workflow.

In practice

What this could look like.

For a signed-proposal event, agree the record identifier and required fields before creating a project. Test repeat events and missing account references so the handoff does not silently create duplicate or incomplete work.

An example workflow, shaped to the systems and responsibilities of your business.
